But this mission didn’t begin with AvelaPets.

It began with my dog.

Losing my dog to illness was one of the hardest experiences of my life. It changed the way I looked at animals forever and made me realize just how much they rely on us throughout their lives. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to do more than simply own pets—I wanted to help them.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate to travel and support animal welfare efforts around the world. Whether it’s visiting rescue centres, supporting conservation projects, or meeting animals that have been rescued from difficult circumstances, every experience has reinforced why this mission matters.

One moment I’ll never forget was meeting an elephant after it had been rescued from a circus. Seeing such a magnificent animal finally living in safety was a powerful reminder that every animal deserves compassion, protection, and a second chance.
